SYNOD OF THE GLOBAL APOSTOLIC DIOCESES & CHURCHES USA- The largest independently incorporated Global Full Gospel Denomination today

In a world seeking peace and purpose, the Synod invites you—pastor, believer, seeker—to join 5 million hearts renewing ancient faith for today. Rooted in apostolic service, we’re here to equip and unite.

Our Global Embrace

As a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) EIN: 99-2563875 by the Federal Government of  USA, IRS Department. Incorporated by the USA Government with a validity period of 99 years. We oversee Full Gospel dioceses worldwide under the AUGP Foundation.

  • Scale: 120+ countries, 20,000 congregations, 5M+ members.
  • Leadership: 3,500+ ordained (bishops to pastors).
  • Mission: Revive episcopal traditions with evangelical fire—credentials renewed annually for fidelity.

  • Our Reach: Spanning all continents, from bustling cities to remote villages—fostering unity in diversity.
  • Our Leaders: A dedicated global clergy of bishops, archbishops, and ministers, guided by timeless apostolic wisdom.
  • Our Commitment: We renew historic traditions while embracing today’s challenges, ensuring every affiliated church thrives in biblical truth. (If alignment shifts, we lovingly guide back to our shared foundation.)
In the spirit of early Church overseers—like Ignatius urging unity around the bishop—we embrace a hierarchy not of power, but of humble service. Christ leads us all, and our structure reflects that loving oversight, drawing from the New Testament’s call to faithful guardianship (1 Timothy 3:1-7).

  • Patriarch (Elected global head, embodying Christ’s unity)
  • Senior Archbishops (Council of wisdom-keepers, advising on doctrine and peace)
  • Bishops (Diocesan shepherds, overseeing 20,000+ congregations with pastoral care)
  • Pastors & Ministers (Local hearts, serving daily in fellowship and evangelism)

Key Pillars of Our Faith:

  • Apostolic Succession: Historical and spiritual continuity, echoing Church Fathers like Clement and Origen—ensuring we’re “where Jesus Christ is, there is the Church.”
  • Full Gospel Doctrines: Evangelical fervor meets ancient rites, focused on prayer, teaching, and worship (Matthew 28:18-20).
  • Eschatological Hope: We’re an eternal community, graded in service like heavenly hosts, open to all who seek renewal.

Throughout much of the documented history of institutional Christianity, a hierarchical polity has predominated as the sole recognized form of ecclesiastical organization, wherein the principal local authorities—designated as bishops—exercise oversight within defined dioceses, conferences, or synods. The term “bishop” derives from the Greek ἐπίσκοπος (epískopos), signifying “overseer.” The bishop is responsible for the supervision of clergy within a given jurisdiction and serves as the church’s official representative both to secular authorities and within its internal hierarchy.

By the early second century, the titles “bishop,” “presbyter” (or priest), and “deacon” had assumed the stable nomenclature and distinct functions familiar today, as attested in the New Testament. The ante-Nicene Fathers uniformly acknowledged these three orders as indispensable to the Church’s constitutional framework. Of particular importance are the epistles of Ignatius, Bishop of Antioch (d. ca. 107–110 AD), composed en route to his martyrdom. In each congregation he addressed, Ignatius presupposed the presence of the same threefold ministry. He insisted that without this tripartite order—bishop, presbyters, and deacons—a community could not properly be termed a church.

Clement of Alexandria

““Even here in the Church the gradations of bishops, presbyters, and deacons happen to be imitations, in my opinion, of the angelic glory and of that arrangement which, the scriptures say, awaits those who have followed in the footsteps of the

Origen

“Not fornication only, but even marriages make us unfit for ecclesiastical honors; for neither a bishop, nor a presbyter, nor a deacon, nor a widow is able to be twice married”

John Chrysostom

When writing to Timothy, Paul says, ‘Fulfill your diaconate’ [2 Tim. 4:5], although Timothy was then a bishop. That he was in fact a bishop is clear when Paul says to him, ‘Lay hands on no man lightly’ [1 Tim. 5:22], and again, ‘Which was given you with the laying on of hands of the presbytery’ [1 Tim. 4:14], and presbyters would not have ordained a bishop”.

Our 2016 Constitution establishes us as an independent Full Gospel denomination under Christ’s authority—glorifying God through disciple-making in a divided world. As the ecclesiastical wing of the 40-year-old AUGP Global Peace Foundation (UN/EU-registered), we blend evangelical fire with episcopal tradition for souls everywhere.

  • Core Purpose: Evangelize, teach, fellowship, and worship—making disciples who transform communities (Matthew 28:18-20).
  • Governance: Elected Patriarch + Archbishops’ Council; global synods approve budgets, canons, and worship forms. Dioceses operate with local legal autonomy under our spiritual umbrella.
  • Judicial Care: Loving tribunals (Bishops + Vicars) handle matters like credentials and disputes, ensuring fairness and fidelity.
  • Affiliations: We welcome Bible-believing fellowships worldwide, fostering interfaith understanding for peace.

LEGAL INCORPORATION IN COUNTRIES

The individual Dioceses and Churches are responsible for their day-to-day management and are strongly encouraged to obtain legal incorporation and adhere to local laws and practices in their respective countries and territories. While legally incorporated in countries, a Board position will be reserved for the Patriarch and the Head of the Judicial and  Archbishops’ Council.

FAITH

All members must remain faithful to the beliefs and adhere to evangelical, Full Gospel beliefs. Whoever deviates, acts contrary or promotes heretical doctrines is liable to be summoned by the Judicial Council and as a final step be removed from membership with credentials being revoked.
